We spent the weekend with the wonderful "Aunties" visiting from Michigan. They hopped on the $119 fare that came up a few weeks ago - it was a 1 hour direct flight from Michigan to Washington DC! It cannot be beat.
Friday night they arrived and went to bed. On Saturday morning, they helped with the women's craft breakfast at church, we did Chick Fil A and hung around. Then on Sunday we went to church and shopped at the thrift store, J.Crew, Vineyard Vines and Sur La Tab. On Monday, they graciously took Ellen and Sam downtown for a little DC adventure while I did some gardening and laid down. It was so nice to lay down in a quiet house! We all took a lot of naps, read a lot of books and took walks.
