Cedarville visit!!

This past weekend, we got to go to Cedarville for an alumni conference. It was really really fun for Nate and I to do this since we couldn't go out for our 10 year Homcoming this year. Nate's parents graciously met us halfway in Ohio and watched the kids for us during the day on Friday and Saturday. They went swimming in the hotel zoo, putt putt golf, petting farm, Bob Evans and the Columbus Zoo!! They can't stop talking about their fun adventures.

We enjoyed spending time with some other alumni and making new friends at this conference. Nate and I went to an amazing university that we could go on and on about if you ask us.

A highlight of the weekend was getting together with 2 of my besties and spouses at Pam's home in Dayton. Both Christy and Pam just had their third babies and our children have never all been together at the same time. It was so fun to hold 3 week old Drew and 13 week old Sarah AND let's not forget 22 month old Ellen! Ha, ha.

The older kiddos on the steps. This photos is funny because Peyton is hugging Rita after meeting her 10 minutes prior for the first time. Isn't Pam's home beautiful??

Christy, Pam, me and the triplets! (They look like triplets don't they?!?!?)

Rita enjoying the dining hall at Cedarville. I am so disappointed I didn't get a photo of Kirsten. She was one of the most special people to me while at Cedarville and I don't get to be in touch with her much anymore. She met us for lunch and my kids loved her. They talked about her taking them over to get pudding with sprinkles. I wish she lived closer.

Things have changed around campus... there are skateboards everywhere! At Cedarville, nothing is locked up.

  1. Cedarville's the best. so glad I met you there! One of my best memories - waiting in my red car while you printed out the last clue to the CZ grad countdown and running in the dmc to win the prize. So happy we saw each other this past weekend : ) kiddos were great.
