We went to a family wedding this weekend in Philly. It was a BLAST! Owen is my dear cousin from my mom's side. Our moms are sisters. I have never been to a wedding that was such a party. Before the water was poured and when the DJ started basic songs, the dance floor was filled. It was fabulous! You would have to know my mom's family and Owen's dad's family to understand what I mean. Thank you to Jen (see interview last week) for babysitting our children in the hotel.

This is Lilly and her two precious "Irish twins": Joe and Ben. Lilly was my maid of honor and like a sister to me. She is my cousin, Owen's only sibling. You can see my mom on the left.

ReplyDeleteYou would have laughed at Kathy Walrath & I after we arrived back at the hotel. Everybody was hanging out at the restaurant downstairs. I was still stuck on how I caught the flowers but had no prospective husband, SO Kathy & I picked out the boys we thought were cute. We approached them and in the most impractical and humorous way possible interviewed them to find out what they were all about. I met a high school chemistry teacher (age twenty-four & a bit too serious), a boy who had really terrible tattoos (age twenty-one & again, too serious) and then this really nice boy who my brother was calling "sweats", lives one town over from marion (age unknown)! unfortunately, andrew figured out what we were doing and made it clear to all men they were not to speak to me, oh big brothers!
