Clara's birth!

We have had a longer recovery but I am feeling great now! I had some infections, high fevers and had to go back to the hospital. I was put on antibiotics. I am home now, feeling great, Nate's mom comes in about 2 hours and Clara is sleeping right now. I don't know how much I can update my blog these days but here are some photos from the birth.

The story... Ahh my water broke, 10 days early!  My mom rushed me to the doctor office after some scrambling at home.  Two dear friends Candi and Cheryl took the kids within 30 minutes.  We had to wait for Nate to come from the metro directly to the hospital.  I was so scared that my labor would be so fast since Ellen's was only 4 hours.  No strong contractions yet but 3-4 cm, OB says go and meet me at the hospital.

Now we are at the hospital - waiting for my room.  I didn't want to sit down - so much adrenaline.  My mom was funny yelling to everyone, "it is her fifth baby!"

 Yeah~!  Nate arrived from work.  It was so surreal for us after all this time of waiting that this was it!

Such a precious and wonderful feeling - Clara is here!

I am so thankful for Nate!  

My mom was in the delivery room too and caught Clara coming out and cut the cord.
