More November 2015

Adrienne is engaged!  We couldn't be more thrilled for her.  Adrienne helped us during my 6th pregnancy with Marta.  She was a life saver and we loved getting to know her.
Especially Ellen loves her!

Grace serving in volleyball.  She played a great season of volleyball and had a winning team!
Marta (in the yellow sweater) loves her weekly class called Little Lambs.  She is only one but she loves snack and story time!

Our morning routine always includes puzzles.

Rita had an awesome soccer season with a winning team.
We loved it when they played in the rain and Coach Todd used the Hello Kitty umbrella.

Team Party at the pizza shop!
Rita is with with her best friend Charlotte and Greta.

Grace tried out for cheerleading at school and made the Middle School Cheer Squad.
We were so proud of her for practicing and performing her cheer by herself in front of the coaches.
She wasn't sure she was going to make it when the coaches made all the girls leave the gym.  But when she walked back in, she saw her poms on the ground with the nametag below.
She just beamed!
Grace with some of the her cheer team.

Clara and Marta are such fun little buddies at lunch.
Clara makes everything fun around the house.
I was able to go in for Ellen's Thanksgiving feast in Kindergarten.
What a treat!

After Halloween, we always enjoy smashing the pumpkins on the overpass!
We kept laughing and laughing.

November 29 marked Rita's 10th birthday.  Instead of cake this year, she got a beautiful assortment of cookies from the local bakery.  We celebrated her birthday a few times this year!
What a great number - 10!

October 2015

Met our friends afterschool one day for treats...

Once Ellen started Kindergarten, she immediately began to read and write!
I loved this book she made at school.

Sam and his best bud Jaden.  They played each other in Fall Ball.

Hosted a really fun dinner party with church friends

Marta couldn't walk but she loved the playground!

We spent one Saturday at a Native American Gathering out west.
The kids painted rocks.

Grace touched a real bear that was skinned in the past month.
It was very greasy and had a texture of peanut butter.  They were laying it out to dry.

Fly fishing

On Halloween morning, Sam's team won first place in the Fall Little League.
It was so fun to see his team do so well!  They had a big presentation and the league commissioner handed out trophies to each boy.
Go Mudhens!

November 2015

Marta LOVES to stack things from the pantry.

Visiting Ellen in her kindergarten class for lunch

So many groceries to unpack!
Little Marta loves to see goldfish.

Clara's first day at Cubbies!
She was fascinated and LOVED it.

Can't get enough of baby Marta.

Clara loves to sit and work on puzzles.

I never want to forget how Marta is in her crib.  She loves to bunch up her blankies and put them by her face in a big ball.  It soothes her when she is crying.

Watching the hometown Homecoming parade in town after school one day.

Grace, Rita and two of their friends at the back to school picnic.
Funnel Cakes!!!

I keep photos of the kids on the fridge and Marta loves to take them down and stare them after the kids leave for school.

An outing to the Farm... I had never been here with the kids and we had a lot of fun on the slides and looking at the animals.

Sewing School

I signed the older girls up for Sewing School.  A new shop opened up in our area that teaches children to craft - it is darling.
The girls made some fun felt crafts and the teacher was awesome.
Thank you Heartfelt for having us!

Disney on Ice

I was awarded four tickets to attend an "exclusive press event" at the Disney on Ice in our area.  It was our first time to attend anything like this!  Ellen was the lucky child that go to attend and she wanted to invite her friend Karina.  They looked like sweet little princesses.

The girls dressed up like their favorite Disney character and we all wore boas and necklaces.  We met up outside the arena and then we got special backstage passes to meet Mickey and Minnie.  They had a darling catered spread of Disney themed food, pumpkin crafts and coloring for the kids, goodie bags filled with swag and a photo op!

We loved the show.  We had great seats and the girls (and moms) were entertained and enthralled for over an hour.  The skaters were so talented and strong!  Our favorite part was
"Let it GO!" and also the dragon from Mulan.  We can't wait to go back!
