March 2015
Grandma came to visit so we went out for Thai food with her. It was just the girls and lots of fun.
After our kitchen renovation, our ice maker never worked again. Nate and Sam tried to fix it. We ended up hiring someone to fix it and we have ice again!
Isabelle, Grace, Natalie and Ellen
We love our neighbors. We went to our favorite little chocolate shop for a sweet treat.
Clara and Marta bath time in the double sink
Natalie and Rita...
notice the Perrier in Natalie's bike
I took the younger three girls to a theater performance in Alexandria to celebrate the Cherry Blossom festival. Afterwards, Clara got to meet "Blossom." It was a darling little performance.
Nate and his boy in Sperries and plaid
Clara and Ellen at our cooking class
We are in a babysitting co-op and we were watching our friend Mary Kate. We pulled out all the playdoh. Good thing we did because the plumber brought his daughter over when he replace the hot water tank. The more the merrier! (He thought we wouldn't notice the extra child!)
Friday Funday!
Out to lunch on Friday and Marta got her first pickle.
She loved it!
First Rita's ice of the season
A family night at Freddie's custard. Thank you to the Lee family!
Book report day at school and Rita chose to report on a book that a family friend gave to us. The author is related to them and she dressed like the main character.

Date Night!
Nate and I discovered a new - yet old- diner in our town... we have been back many times since. It was such a great place full of character and great food! (Notice the phone in the background!)

Grace and Nathan!
Nathan is her teacher's son.
We did a long-distance cupcake gender reveal for my college friend Allison. It was a girl!
Ellen goes to Kindergarten orientation... such a sweet day!
Rita making her Valentines. This year we did gumball machines made out of red cups.
Clara sleeping in her bed.
Getting ready for a snow day.
The old trick of duct tape around the gloves to keep them on!
Rita and her little buddy Marta
Rita and her piano teacher Mrs Glaze (9 months pregnant!)
Rita started to play piano this past year and loved it.
Ellen and her ballet class
A dear college friend from Ohio sent us Killer Brownies.
We devoured them.
Egyptian day at school! Grace looked beautiful and wore a ton of blue eye makeup.
