The lady at the wallpaper store gave us a wallpaper book that we could use for crafts and cutting. It was a really fun activity for the kids for a few days (until the wallpaper was all over the house.) You can also see we are in the thick of our kitchen renovation by the background of this photo. Our kitchen entered our living room for 2 months.
Marta is such a happy little baby!
Clara running some errands with me at Pottery Barn Kids. She found a "lovie" and a comfy bed.
The kids waiting for our morning carpool and got to sit on our new kitchen pantry! I love my large panty that is now installed (pictures will be coming).
The day we got our floors refinished, we could not go on our main floor from 5 pm until around noon the next day. I had a crockpot in my bedroom and we ate stew on the floor for dinner. Memories! When they refinished the floor with the second coat, Marta had a seizure that night and I had to run out to the ambulance. The kids all followed and ran on the second coat of the floor. Now we have little sneaker footprints from the kids and chaos of the seizure/ambulance in the finish of the floor. Oh well.
We had quite a bit of snow days so we met up with our friends to swim at the indoor pool. They have six kids too (not all pictured) and so we are quite the crew for the lifeguard. Afterwards we always order lunch.
On another snow day, we met the same friends at Chick Fil A for milkshakes for Brooks' birthday. "Excuse me, would you please split 6 milkshakes into 12 cups and put two cherries on each?" -says me.
Rita ran with me to the mall and we found this crystal hamburger. She still talks about this!
Long distance gender reveal for Marvin and Lindsay!
It is a GIRL!
We were invited to Dave and Anne's house for lunch after church one Sunday. Marta made a new friend with "Heather." (They actually have two cats so it is either Heather or Opie.)
