Our wonderful pastor has three sons. The last of his sons - Loren - tied the knot!! He was a friend of mine in high school and college. They hosted an open house to celebrate their marriage earlier in the summer. They were so sweet to Ellen and she was so excited to see a bride and groom. I love that Rachel wore her dress even though it wasn't her wedding day. Such a sweet couple - so excited for Loren!

Good friends of ours (Hollie and Mike) were back for the week and we got together at the Simons house. Tiffany is such a wonderful hostess and always opening up for house for parties. I miss my friend Hollie and it was fun to spend some time together.

Uncle Brian and Sam's 7th Birthday

We hosted a joint birthday party for Uncle Brian and Sam. It was a crab feast. It was on our driveway to keep the mess outside.

What a perfect day!

We went to Chuck E Cheese's on Sam's actual birthday. That was the first time the kids have all been.

My birthday in July...

I felt so loved on my birthday this year by my family!

My brother had an XL cookie shipped to me and it came during dinner. We heard the knock and ran to the door. There was a large van outside that said "Cookies to go." The guy who delivered it was super enthusiastic and so excited that we had so many kids. I know he wanted to come inside and celebrate with us. Afterwards, my brother told me that he called him in California to tell him what my reaction was at the door! So worth it!

Then Grace made me the sweetest card that made me cry! She did an acronym of my name.

Nate also went out and bought me an ice cream cake which was very impressive since he hates ice cream cakes. What a great day.
