I was asked to throw the end of the year party for Rita's class. I have never done this before and it was really fun and cute. We based it off of a Luau theme. What I love about their school is that people sign up to bring things, participate and help. It is so nice to write down that you need grass skirt and leis and parents sign up willingly. It really made the party fun for the kids. We had Hawaiian music playing the whole time and the kids were calm and great. They decorated t-shirts, played Hawaiian BINGO (Nate and I were trying to come up with Hawaiian words at 11 pm the night before), and games outside with beach balls and Hula Hoops. The kids were all so festive that day in Hawaiian attire. Precious.
Decorating T-shirts
Hawaiian Bingo (you had to yell ALOHA!)
The teachers each received "gift card coconut trees."
I found out her teacher loved Anthropology so I "hinted" that to the parents.
WOW these cupcakes were amazing. I asked a parent to bring Hawaiian cupcakes and WOW.
I loved them.
