Spring Break: More Beach

 When my MOPS group found out I was pregnant, they gave me a jar of pickles and a Ben and Jerry's gift card.  It was fun to use it up in Naples!

Spring Break: Beach

Sam helped Nana with a project before we went down to the beach one morning.  

 We kept seeing dolphins and manatees at the beach.

Spring Break: Pool Days

We spent so much time in the pool while in Florida.  I think we spent more time in the pool than in the ocean.  Grace and Rita both learned to swim and Sam was very comfortable in the water by the end of the week.  We were so thankful for this!

 We also learned how to do those mid air shots that make you look like you are flying.  Rita and Grace got a kick out of this.

 Throughout our trip and Easter Sunday, this was the only family photo we got!

Spring Break: Egg Hunt!

We went to an Easter Brunch and participated in a HUGE egg hunt on the golf course.  

 This was the hunt for the 4-7 year olds!

 Ellen is at a fun age because she is just beginning to understand the idea of "collecting eggs."

 There was an Easter Bunny walking around and Ellen was so scared of him.  She liked to see him from a distance and then would go crazy when he got close.  This was at the end of the morning and she gave him a hug.  It was funny.  I know all kids do this but it was still hilarious.

Spring Break: Fishing Derby

We woke up early on Saturday to go to the Fishing Derby.  It was really a lot of fun.  We were convinced that the kids that got there early knew where all the fish were!

 My family has a thing about donuts and these donuts were actually really impressive.

 This gentleman helped Sammy put the worm on his hook.  I am also good at doing that!

We did not win any trophies this morning but we did win something later in the weekend.

Spring Break: Drive In Movie

While on Spring Break, we went to a drive in movie on the golf course.  The kids could drive the carts and then they ate popcorn and watched a movie.  My mom and I kept driving our cart to the bathroom on the other side of the club.  On the way back, we would get more popcorn from the cart.  It was hilarious to load all the kids up and keep doing this.  They loved the movie, even Ellen.

Spring Break: Itza Pizza PARTY!

We went to a pizza party at the park at the country club that was super fun.  They had a DJ, food, games, moon bounce, chalk, balls, you name it.  It was like a really well-done playdate.

 Grace played the first game.  It was an egg carrying contest.  She ended up winning and won a GIFT CARD TO TOYS R US!  We were so excited for her and she is SOOO excited to use it.

 Ellen kept picking up random Diet Cokes and drinking from them.  We finally got her one of her own.  

 The next morning the kids just lounged in the breakfast nook!

Upcoming Weekend

I am so excited for this weekend!

This is a little preview of what is to come...  I am teaching a craft morning at my church on Saturday and my sister in laws are coming in from Michigan!

Spring Break Day 1 and 2

We arrived and the kids got very comfortable in their beds at Nana and Papa's condo in Florida.  

Rita journaled the whole week.

 The kids watched a lot of Shirley Temple videos in the mornings.

 Nate and I took the kids for a lot of walks.

 Ellen LOVED the pool.  She was fearless.

 Grace and Nate on the elevator... the kids love the elevator.  They live on the 17th floor so we did a lot of elevator "riding."  The little things in life are very fun to the kids!
