I had a wonderful weekend away with my girlfriends and enjoyed spending time shopping with them! The day before I left, I took my girls to see Cinderella at a local junior high. It was really a cute story and my girls were mesmerized by the "real" Cinderella backstage. They were the only little girls there!!

Horses for our family??
So we are not in the house market because we love our home and neighborhood and are very content. But... a really good house I have been watching came up on the market as being reduced yesterday. It went down $400,000 in the past 6 months and I asked our dear friend/realtor if we could go and see it. So we went yesterday and I fell in love with it...
Front of it
Kitchen - needs work but livable Finished big basement
tire swing, 2.25 acres in "horse country" but close to the Metro
So I took my husband back a few hours later with our realtor and he reeled me in. He told me that the house wasn't ideal for us and we don't have the money to tear down and build. He said that it would be more work than we could take on. I am so thankful for a practical minded husband who will remind me that I am not going to be making gallons of my own laundry detergent while rolling around in the fields with my kids and my horses!! Although I secretly want that.
On a more serious note, my dear friend Andrea had a tragic thing happen in her yard 2 Sundays ago. A 64 year old man working with the stump grinder was in a horrible accident and is on life support with an amputated leg, arm and serious issues throughout his boday. The trauma has really affected their family and children as they were the first on the scene. Please pray for the worker: Henry and Andrea and her family in this next 24 hours as Henry looks like he will be taken off of life support. May God be glorified.
